Who can remember: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCReallyLongStringOfCharacters? Nobody! It’s a total mess.

So, I was thinking, why not make them easier and consistent?

And that’s exactly what I did today. for one of our clients our brokerage website, https://Easy.Realty. I set up URL forwarding.

Now, instead of that crazy YouTube link, you can just go to easy.realty/youtube. Boom! Way easier, right?

I did the same thing for all our other social media accounts too:

• easy.realty/youtube
• easy.realty/instagram
• easy.realty/facebook
• easy.realty/x

Now they’re perfectly consistent and easy to remember. Like, if I’m talking to someone about our YouTube channel, I can just say, “Go to easy.realty/youtube,” and they’ve got it. No more fumbling around trying to copy and paste a ridiculously long link.

Here’s why this is so awesome:

• Super Simple: These links are so easy to remember and share. It’s a no-brainer.
  
  
• Branding: Everything looks more professional and connected to our brand. It’s all under easy.realty, which is way better than some random social media URL.
  
  
• Flexibility: If our YouTube channel or something ever changes (knock on wood!), we just update the forwarding. No more hunting down every single place we’ve posted the old link. Smart, right?
  
  
• Tracking (Maybe Later): I’m even thinking we could use a URL shortener with tracking later on to see how many people are clicking through from our website. That would be cool.

Honestly, this was one of the smartest things I’ve done lately. If you’re still using those crazy long social media links, you need to do this. It’s so much better. Trust me.
